You found the perfect Negroni ratio. One ounce gin, one ounce Campari, one ounce sweet vermouth. It tastes exactly right in the glass. Then twelve friends show up and suddenly you're multiplying fractions in your head, pouring by feel, and hoping for the best. The first batch is a little strong. The second is watery. By the third you've lost track entirely.
Pour Craft is a small app built for exactly this situation. Pick a classic cocktail, tell it how many drinks you need, and it gives you the exact amounts for the whole batch, ratios intact, dashes rounded to real whole numbers, and a clear read on how strong the final mix will be. No math, no guessing, no disappointed guests.

The problem with eyeballing a batch
Classic cocktails live or die by their ratios. A Whiskey Sour at 2:1:1 (spirit, citrus, syrup) tastes balanced because those proportions work together. Scale it up by pouring roughly and you're not making a big Whiskey Sour anymore, you're making something that might be close. The margin for error on a single drink is small. Multiply that error by fifteen and it shows up in every glass.
The other hidden problem is dilution. A properly batched cocktail accounts for the water that comes from stirring or shaking. If you skip that calculation you end up with a drink that tastes sharp and hot straight from the bottle, or you add ice to each glass and let it dilute unpredictably. Neither is what you wanted when you planned the party.
Pour Craft addresses both of these things at once. The ratio is locked in from the original recipe. The batch strength is surfaced clearly so you know what you're working with before you pour a single drop.

How the app works
Open the app and you'll find a set of classic recipes already loaded: Negroni, Margarita, Whiskey Sour, Old Fashioned, and more. Each one carries the canonical ratio that bartenders actually use. Tap a recipe, set your batch size with the slider or input, and the breakdown appears immediately: ounces for each spirit and modifier, dashes for bitters rounded to the nearest whole number, the right call on barspoon amounts for anything measured that way.
The composition view shows you what percentage of the batch each ingredient occupies, and the batch strength gives you the ABV of the final mix. That second number is more useful than it might seem: it tells you whether you can pre-batch and refrigerate overnight (high-ABV batches keep well), and it helps you think about pace if you're hosting people with different tolerances.
You can also add your own house recipes. If you've dialed in a riff on a classic, or you have a seasonal punch that works every time, you can save it and load it onto the calculator the same way as any built-in recipe. The app works fully offline, so it's useful in a kitchen with spotty signal or at a venue where you don't want to rely on a browser.
Try it now, right here
The interactive app is embedded directly below. Pick a cocktail, adjust the batch size, and watch the amounts update in real time. If you have a house recipe in mind, try adding it and see how it scales. This is exactly what your guests will see on their phones if you share the link.
The screenshot above shows the main scaler with a Negroni set to serve eight. Notice how the app keeps all three components at equal parts even as the total volume climbs, and shows the batch ABV alongside the ingredient list. The second screenshot shows the recipe editor, where you can enter any formula and save it for future batches.
Who gets the most out of this
If you host regularly and always end up making the same two or three cocktails, Pour Craft turns those recipes into a reliable system. You stop improvising the math and start treating the batch like a recipe you can repeat. The first time you pour fifteen Margaritas that all taste identical, it becomes hard to go back to eyeballing.
Home bar hobbyists who are working through classic cocktail books get something slightly different from the app: a clear look at how professional ratios are structured. When you see that a Daiquiri and a Margarita share the same underlying 2:1:1 logic, you start to understand why both work, and what you'd be changing if you adjusted one of the parts. The calculator becomes a learning tool as much as a practical one.
And for anyone throwing a big party where cocktails are part of the event, the batch strength display answers a question that almost nobody thinks to ask until it's too late: how much alcohol is actually in this punch bowl? Knowing that number lets you plan the rest of the evening more confidently.
Built from a single idea, ready to use
Pour Craft started as a straightforward problem: hosts need reliable batch math, and no tool was built specifically for the way home bartenders actually think about cocktails. The app was built quickly from that idea, seeded with real bartending ratios, and kept simple on purpose. There's no subscription, no account, nothing to configure before it works.
The best batch cocktail tools are the ones you actually reach for at 5pm on a Saturday when guests are arriving in an hour. Pour Craft is designed to be that tool, small enough to live on your home screen and fast enough to give you the answer before you open the bottles.

Have a tool idea of your own?
Pour Craft went from a one-line idea to a working app in minutes. If there's a small problem you keep solving by hand, a spreadsheet you wish were a real app, or a tool your group chat has asked for a dozen times, you can build it the same way.
